WELL - my baby is now over 1 year old! It is hard to believe as time just seems to fly by. Jacob is now a toddler - walking almost everywhere, even dancing when the fancy strikes. He has an interesting bobbing style of movement - I am sure takes after me more than his dad! He is eating all sorts of foods, no real diet issues, yet. I do wish he would sleep better at night, but one can't have everything!
He just had his first stomach bug..... BUT I think it had more to do with drinking pool water than something he picked up elsewhere - none of the rest of us got sick.
A cute story - in our house we love to sit on the living room register as the furnace blows warm air, we even like to put a blanket over it so that we all can huddle underneath and share the heat (well, Pete doesn't like doing this, but will on occasion join the family huddle). This morning, I was nursing Jacob and heard the furnace kick on - Jacob pops off, climbs down from my lap, toddles over to the register, sits down and looks at me as if to say "Coming?" VERY cute!
Jacob loves watching and imitating his older brothers - fun things like pretending to walk into doors and wrestling and shrieking. They have alot of fun together!
Another thing Jacob is doing now is making animal sounds - he especially likes anything that roars! He has a mighty fine roar happenin'!
